Column load cell SP-A Sensocar is a development of a Spanish company. Sensocar sensors are used in weighing equipment that weighs large vehicles - trucks, grain carriers, trains with bulk or liquid substances in transport wagons. In this model range, there are sensors that can withstand loads from 10 to 50 tons.
Technical datasheet
The load cell SP-A Sensocar is a measuring product that is installed in the measuring units of weighing platforms. Several weighing platforms (from 2 to 4) can weigh trucks weighing up to 100 tons and a bunch of wagons with a total weight of 150 tons. The car drives onto the weighing platforms and stops, and the wagon can be weighed after stopping on the platforms or slowly driving over them (dynamic weighing).
After hitting the platforms, pressure is exerted on the key components of the scales under the weight of the transport. Sensocar strain gauges are installed under the weighing platform at these points. The sensor is fixed using special mounting cups and several mounting stops. Inside the sensor there is a measuring resistor (strain gauge). With the pressure of the upper cup on the sensor itself, the force is transferred to the resistor, which fixes the level of the created weight pressure from the transport to the platform. Further, from each sensor from the network, the signal is transmitted via an analog channel to the dispatcher's console (weight type indicator).
Further, in the indicator, the taken indicators are summed up with a further display of the total weight of the transport, which is on the truck or wagon scales. Sensors can be connected to the indicator, and the indicator can be connected to any computer equipment in order to enter the weighing characteristics into the server or 1C.

Model SP-A is manufactured in a stainless steel base. All external case elements are made of stainless steel, which is an excellent tool for protecting equipment from external irritants - air, dust, humidity.
When ordering, you must select the required modification of the strain gauge according to its weight characteristics. The limit of the sensor for weighing is the following denominations: 10 ton; 15 ton; 20 ton; 25 ton; 30 ton; 35 ton; 40 ton; 50 ton.
Above and below the sensor there are body protrusions, which are also mounting elements. Both lugs fit into a cup that secures the load cell under the platform. When the platform presses on the sensor, the latter does not deform and remains in place, and all the pressure is applied to the internal strain gauge. The percentage of resistor deformation depends on the level of the mass of vehicles that drove onto the platform. The electronics reads the pressure value from each sensor, converts this value into a mass value and sums up all the mass values from the sensors. Thus, the total mass of transport on the scales is determined.
