The weighing terminal - VT-7.00 (hereinafter VT) is intended for use in scales built on strain gauges using a strain gauge digital converter ТЦП-6.00 (hereinafter ТЦП) in an amount of 1 to 4 pieces. VT Designed to service the load receiving device, which has from one to four load receiving platforms, on the load receiving platform there can be from one to four load cells.
The weighing terminal controls the weighing process, monitors and tests the operation of the strain gauge digital converter, strain gauges and communication lines.
VT controls the correctness of the program being executed, instrument settings, keyboard operation. The integrity of the communication line of the RS485 interface is checked, the compliance of the supply voltage with the TCP. The connection and overload of strain gauges, violation of the insulation of the strain gauge cable is controlled.
Scales are calibrated using a weighing terminal without external adjusting elements, while saving the settings codes in a memory device. Calibration is carried out using reference weights or electronically, by changing the weight coefficients and entering them into the VT memory.
The VT implements such additional weighting functions as the prohibition of zeroing, the determination of the displacement of the vehicle's center of gravity. Bulk cargo dosing control, dimension sensors connection (optional).
The number of measuring channels is from 1 to 16.
Discrete readings - 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 kg.
The number of connected devices via the RS485 interface is from 1 to 20.

Also in the VT there is a discrete input signal with a DC voltage of 5-24V and a discrete output signal, switching alternating current 10A of voltage 240V and switching direct current 10A of voltage 28V. These functions have an optional implementation.
The time of changes in readings when the load changes does not exceed 1 s.
The time to establish reliable readings (from the moment of termination of loading to the moment of countdown) is no more than 10 s.
The time to establish the operating mode after power-on is 10 s.
The time of continuous work is not limited.

The weighing terminal is designed for operation in areas with a temperate and cold climate in irregularly heated rooms at temperatures from 10°C to 45°C. The upper value of relative humidity is 98% at 25°C.

Tensometric digital transducer ТЦП-6.00

Strain gauge digital converter ТЦП-6.00 is an electronic device that performs analog-to-digital conversion of the output signal of the load cell, further data processing and transmits the measurement result in digital form via the RS485 interface to the weighing terminal - VT-7.00 ТЦП can be used individually, as it is functional finished device. ТЦП-6.00, for example, can be connected to a computer via the RS485 interface using the “ETM” protocol - PS-09.
TCP provides independent connection from 1 to 4 strain gauges. There is a built-in digital temperature sensor, the signal of which is used to correct the temperature error of strain gauges. In the advanced diagnostics mode of strain gauge sensors TCP-6.00 allows you to control their input, output resistance and violation of the sensor cable insulation.
The digital converter is configured using BT-7.00. All operating parameters: board serial number, ADC conversion factor correction, data transfer rate via RS485 interface, TCP address on the RS485 interface line, number of weight measuring channels are stored in internal non-volatile memory.
ТЦП-6.00 has an average (III) accuracy class according to DSTU EN 45501, the maximum number of verification graduations is 10000. Non-linearity is not more than 0.003%.
The TCP-6.00 uses a 24-bit sigma-delta proportional ADC with built-in digital filters. Measuring range ±4mV/V. The time of one measurement is no more than 43 ms, and the measurement cycle on 4 channels is no more than 200 ms.
ТЦП-6.00 has from 1 to 4 weight measuring channels, to which strain gauge sensors are connected. Several strain gauges connected in a parallel circuit can be connected to one measuring channel. 4-wire or 6-wire connection possible. The input-output resistance of strain gauges is from 120 to 1100 Ohm. The sensors are powered by a signal (meander) of alternating current with a voltage of 5V and a frequency of 425Hz.

The secondary display VD-25-… is an additional peripheral device that repeats the weighing result and other primary indications. The display has 6 LED seven-segment indicators 25mm high, 8 LEDs, a functional keyboard. Working temperature range from -30°С to 70°С, degree of protection against external influences IP65, connected via RS485 interface.

Radio modem RM-7.00… is a device that provides communication between VT-7.00 and TCP-6.00 via radio channel. The communication range is 200 - 1300m, depending on the type of antennas used. The radio modem operates on an unlicensed frequency of 433 MHz with an unlicensed power of up to 10 mW. The package includes two transceiver modules, a power supply, antennas, and a set of connecting cables. Working temperature range from -30°С to 70°С, degree of protection against external influences IP65. Serves for "transparent" replacement of the RS485 interface cable.
The kit can have a certified explosion-proof design using an additional spark protection module BI-1.
The VT-7.00 weight processor can be optionally equipped with a display based on OLED indicators, which makes it possible to expand the operating temperature range from -20 ° C to 45 ° C.
BT-7.00 has a modification that allows you to work with Flintec digital sensors of the RC3D series. From 1 to 16 such sensors can be connected to the VT, while the ideology of working with the weighing terminal is fully preserved.
